FAQ

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that you can easily move around in, such as athletic wear and proper footwear.  This will allow your physical therapist to perform a thorough examination.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your photo ID, insurance card, and if you have one, a referral or prescription from your physician.  Some insurances require a referral or prescription; therefore, please check with your insurance company before scheduling your appointment.

What insurance do you accept?

We strongly recommend patients verify their physical therapy benefits before scheduling an appointment.  No two insurance companies are the same. All plans have specific requirements and limitations that are often unique to physical therapy services.  Feel free to contact us at MAC Physical Therapy to further discuss your insurance benefits.

We are in-network with the following insurances and are working on becoming contracted with new insurances monthly.  If you do not see your insurance listed, please feel free to contact us.

How long is a physical therapy session?

Our initial evaluations and follow-up visits will typically last an hour.

Who will provide physical therapy?

You will be evaluated by one of our licensed and highly trained physical therapists. Unlike some clinics who use Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) or or PT techs/aides, we feel it is very important to develop a one-on-one relationship with you to maintain continuity of care.
